Although we did postpose the event to May 29 & 30, we will NOT be hosting a live, in-person event on that particular weekend. For everyone’s health, we have decided to host a virtual Bowl for Kids’ Sake, but with a fun caveat. Our staff will host a Virtual Bowl for Kids’ Sake on Thursday, June 4 from 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. We will continue with our Roaring 20’s theme, so get out your flapper dresses and zoot suits. Participants that bowl virtually are encouraged to be creative- use lawn bowling, the Wii, plastic bottles, whatever you have and can knock over! On Zoom we will still have a DJ during the event, along with raffles and prizes.

Here’s the fun twist. If teams would like to bowl in-person, they can go to either Dale’s Weston Lanes, Paper City Lanes, Bowl Winkle’s Two, or Les n’ Jim’s Lincoln Lanes to bowl in-person. Note: BBBS staff will not be at any of the alleys. Teams can bowl in-person (at their leisure between June 4-June 30). Any team that bowls in-person is asked to send us pictures and videos. BBBSNCW will promote their fundraising efforts on our social media platforms and on our website.

Our great sponsors will received recognition at the alleys and during our Virtual BFKS

We will have fun contests and prizes. Best costumes, best creative bowling alley, etc. We will make arrangements to have your BFKS t-shirts delivered or you can pick up contactless at our office.

We will still have our popular alley cash. Regardless of how teams and individuals participate, each team captain will receive ally cash that they can use toward food at the Bowling Alley where the event would have taken place. Whether in-person or at home, pizza is on us. You can pick up your pizza at one of the alleys listed above or have it delivered to your lane during your in-person bowling time.

During these trying times, your financial support is needed more than ever. Thank you for participating in this unique Bowl for Kids’ Sake. Please consider fundraising through now until June 30. All money from Bowl for Kids’ Sake 2020 will stay local and support youth in our communities that need a mentor.
